Stampin' Up! Best Day!

Hey there! Today's card is one that I CASE'd from page 67 of the January-April Mini Catalog using the same stamp set, Best Day, and layout! Sometimes the best ideas can come straight from the catalog pages! I used one of the Balmy Blue prints from the Dandy Design 12 x 12 Designer pack, a Sale-a-bration choice with a $100 order, for the envelope flap and the card front background.
After stamping the main image with Tuxedo Black ink, I used Blending Brushes to swirl on Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, and Polished Pink ink over the image. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the "HAPPY" & "BIRTHDAY", as well as underneath the cake plate. The Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins were the perfect embellishment for some pops of coordinating color and sparkle!
I stamped a sentiment from the Best Day set inside, as well as the sparkler candles. I stamped it all on a separate piece of Basic White just in case I needed to turn it over and re-stamp. A bit more ink swirling with the Blending Brushes finished it off.
