Stampin' Up! Rays of Light!

Hey there! Today's cards are the masculine companions of the cards I shared with you yesterday. I needed several graduation cards this year, for both nieces, nephews, and a grandson, so after making the cards for the girls, I pulled out the He's the Man Suite and my new Rays of Light stamp set to go along with more Charming Sentiments!

Just as I did with the feminine cards yesterday, I chose one sheet of He's the Man 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Paper, cut a 5 1/4" x 4" layer, then cut it into two pieces; 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" and 1 3/4" x 5 1/4", then flipped one piece over to use the opposite-but-coordinating side. I adhered the pieces to a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Early Espresso layer, then wrapped 15 inches of Sahara Sand twill ribbon (from the same ribbon combo pack I used the Old Olive from yesterday) and tied in a knot. When that was done I then adhered it all to the Sahara Sand card front.

For the focal greeting I inked the Rays of Light stamp with Versamark, then pressed a piece of Basic White on it. I sprinkled the clear, sticky image with Gold Embossing Powder and then heated with my Heat Tool. After letting the embossed image cool a bit I then cut with one of the scalloped circle dies from the Layering Circles Dies. I stamped "woo-hoo!" from Charming Sentiments with Early Espresso ink on Basic White, then cut with the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes die. I adhered the sentiment to the embossed circle with glue dots, then adhered the circle to the card over the ribbon with dimensionals.

Inside I stamped "CONGRATULATIONS!",  from Charming Sentiments, with Early Espresso ink on  a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Basic White. I adhered it to a 3 3/8" x 4 3/8" piece of Early Espresso, then added to the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of He's the Man Specialty paper I had already adhered to a layer of 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Early Espresso. I adhered all to the inside of the card.

Before closing up the card I stamped one of the screw images from He's All That in each corner.

I coordinated the envelope by adding a layer of He's the Man Specialty Paper to the flap and stamping "woo-hoo!" in the lower left front corner.
