With every new catalog that comes along, I hear a lot of people, demonstrators and stampers, bemoaning the fact that Stampin' Up! keeps adding more new flower stamp sets to their offering. They want something "different", or "fresh". Well, evidently flowers sell, because I really don't think a company that has been successfully in business for over 30 years would keep offering a type of stamp set that didn't sell well!

The new Flowing Flowers stamp set from the January/June Mini Catalog is definitely NOT "just another flower set"! It is a new addition to the "Dist INK tive" line of stamps, and is so very, very pretty! Today's card is my first play with this set but it definitely won't be my last as I'm seeing so many more ideas pop into my head just after playing with it today!

For my card today I used a super-simple layout with just two ink colors, Evening Evergreen and Poppy Parade!

The "DistINKtive" feature of these stamps lets you achieve more than one tone of color with just one inking of the stamp, as shown here on the Poppy Parade bloom:

The font of the sentiments in this set are so simple but pretty, just like actual handwriting. I added a few clear teardrops from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials for a little sparkle.

I was able to stamp the card front, inside, sentiments, and envelope all with the same stamp set!

This is such a fun sentiment, perfect for today's world!
