Stampin' Up! To A Wild Rose With Stampin' Blends!
June 27, 2019
Hey there! As soon as I could order anything I wanted from the catalog, I made sure I ordered all of the newest Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers! Several are in new In Colors, so I was excited to try them out to create a pretty background to stamp To A Wild Rose!
I colored slashes of Stampin' Blends diagonally across the white layer, overlapping each color a little over the previous one: Light Pretty Peacock, Dark Pool Party, Dark Seaside Spray, Dark Highland Heather, and Light Rococo Rose! Stampin' Blends alcohol markers dry almost instantly, so you can continue coloring with no worries!
I matted the stamped "Blessed" with a Basic Black shape punched with the same Story Label Punch then cut in half to attach to the back of the greeting to leave an even edge. I finished the greeting with a few Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
I custom-colored 3/8" Silver Edged Metallic Ribbon with my Light Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blend. The alcohol dries almost instantly to you can handle and tie the knot shortly after finishing coloring.
Tied in a simple knot!
Inside I stamped another phrase from To A Wild Rose and added a thin strip cut from the front background.
I colored the envelope flap with the same colors of Stampin' Blends to match the card.
