Stampin' Up! Christmas with the Mams!
December 22, 2017
Hey there! A couple of weeks ago my team, the Yes, Mam! Stampers, gathered to have our annual Christmas Party. Everyone brought food, we exchanged gifts, and of course we stamped! I will be sharing what we stamped next week (Occasions and Sale-a-bration sneak peeks), but today I want to share with you Christmas creations by my sweet friend, Angie Lisk!
First, our gift exchange guidelines required either the gift to be made with Stampin' Up! or packaged using Stampin' Up! products. Angie packaged up a set of fancy paper plates and Christmas napkins with a shiny bow and a simple tag she gussied up with a Hometown Greetings Edgelit.
She took a simple piece of Whisper White card stock and turned it into a winter scene with the edgelit and the Big Shot. A punched hole and a bit of white ribbon and voila!
Next, Angie gave every one of her sister Mams a bottle of Bath & Body Works lotion in packaging she created herself!
Created with Kraft card stock that is now retired, this box is sturdy!
Angie adhered a bit of Christmas Quilt Designer Paper to the front of the belly band, then added a greeting layer cut with a Stitched Shapes and Layering Circle Framelits. She added one of our Stitched Felt Embellishments (still available but retiring) to complete the simple homespun look.
I received a special gift from Angie, packaged in a gold foil Striped Treat Bag! A quick and simple packaging solution, Angie simply folded the top of this 4 3/4" x 7" bag over, and then added a Gold Library Clip and a tag created with the Merry Little Labels stamp set and Everyday Label Punch! The Gold Foil leaves were punched with the Leaf Punch from the Painted Harvest Bundle. Note: the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper and Merry Little Labels stamp set are retiring on January 2nd, but you can still order them in my Online store: http://bit.ly/shopwithCarolPayneStamps
Inside the bag was the cutest little present! Angie had ordered a custom-engraved Block D just for me with my name and the cutest little owl on it!
She also gave me a custom-engraved bone folder!

Thanks for the shoutout Carol! I have to give credit to my sister and fellow sister Mam, Laurel Watkins, for the gift of dishes. She gave them to me for Thanksgiving and I thought it was a wonderful idea. Instructions for the box can be found at SU! demo Julie DiMatteo’s website thepaperpixie.com. The gift bag design is by SU! demos Brian King and Pam Morris. And you can order the etched items from SU! demo Tamra Davis. So many talented SU! demos! Makes me proud to be part of the Yes, Mam! team and the SU! family. Merry Christmas!
