Stampin' Up! Merry Little Labels: the Tags!

Stampin' Up! Merry Little Labels Box of Tags!

Hey there! I finally had a chance to do some serious stamping yesterday! yay! My mojo had taken a vacation for a few days, which is NOT helpful at all, but when that happens I just start cutting paper for a future class or stamp up leftover kits from a past class and it usually returns pretty quickly!

I was needing some mojo badly because my projects for the November Creative Crew over on Splitcoaststampers was due, like literally yesterday; actually November 1st! I was able to finish all of my challenge projects and uploaded them all to the gallery last night. Whew!

Today I want to share with you a box of tags I created for the Creative Crew Sketch Challenge. We were to create our project using this sketch of a bunch of tags:

With so many choices it was hard to decide! I finally decided to start with a box to hold a group of tags. I used this Mini File Box tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.  I used Merry Little Labels stamps, Everyday Label Punch, Crumb Cake, Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper, Silver Glimmer Paper, the Envelope Punch Board, and a Brights Enamel Shape (Real Red) to create this:

This little Mini File Box is absolutely adorable! I used this one for tags, but you could put a candy bar or a host of other things in it too!

After I decided t use the black & white plaid print from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper package, the whole thing came together really quickly. After I stamped "just for you" from Merry Little Labels with Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock, I punched with the Everyday Label Punch. I punched a second label from Basic Black card stock, cut it in half, and attached the ends to the top and bottom of the greeting label using SNAIL adhesive. The belly band was created from 7 1/2 inches of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. I cut a snowflake from Silver Glimmer Paper with a Seasonal Layers Thinlet Die. I adhered the greeting with dimensionals and the snowflake with a glue dot. I added a Brights Enamel Shape (heart) in the center of the snowflake to cover up the stickiness in the center from the glue dot.
