Stampin' Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Stampin' Up! Nailed It Birthday!

Hey there! Today's card wasn't the card I started out to create, but it turned out better than what I imagined! Does that ever happen to you?

I used a Build It framelits (sold out) die to cut four hexagons from Marina Mist, Urban Underground Specialty Designer Paper (sold out), and Silver Foil. I used the "Faux Rust" technique after Big Shot embossing the silver hexagon with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions. I heated first with silver, then with Copper powder to achieve the "rusty" look!

Note: Urban Underground Specialty paper, Build It Framelits, and Urban Underground Embellishments (silver star) used on this card are both retired and sold out.

I don't have a full picture of the card because I was too busy fending off curious kitty-cats while taking the photos.! lol!

Inside I used the nails image from "Nailed It"and an"Urban District" sentiment.
