Stampin' Up! That Thing You Did for Bringing Birthdays Back!
February 22, 2016
Hey there! I intended to get my blog post up earlier today, but I made a big mistake. My laptop has been bugging me to update to Windows 10 "for free" for several months now, and I've avoided it as long as I could. Saturday night I decided to take the plunge and downloaded the update during the night, then while Troy was here yesterday afternoon I installed it in case there were problems. All seemed to go well, until this morning when I uploaded my first new pictures from my camera since the update. It was a nightmare. I use an older camera with a little SD card. Apparently it holds A LOT of pictures, because, even though I'm using the same laptop that has ALL of the previous pics from this card, the "updated" program recognized them ALL AS NEW PICTURES. ALL 7,800 of them! I know, I know, I should be deleting them off the SD card as I upload, but I'm just old school, or neurotic or something and feel the need to keep them on the camera card. All of my problem today would have been avoided if the upload program had a simple "select" "deselect" option, but if it has one I couldn't find it. After deselecting over 4,000 of them by clicking on each one, I guess the program got tired of putting up with me and started uploading the remaining 3,ooo. Then I couldn't find them for awhile, then I did, but had to create a folder to copy and past them to........ and on, and on, and on. Technology. We have a love/hate relationship! lol!
So FINALLY, here's my card for today. I'm in a rush now because I still have prep for my team meeting tonight, so this will be quick!
I used a set I've had for awhile, That Thing You Did, pairing it with the Apple of My Eye set from the Occasions Catalog. I think the lemon slices look very 60's-ish, don't you?
I accented the shooting star with with a Gold Glimmer one punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack star:
