Stampin' Up! Simply Wonderful Butterflies!

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Basics for Linda!

Hey there! Sunday was a snowy day, so I decided to just to play with my stamps, something I hardly ever do. I created this birthday card I mailed to my downline Linda Reaney:

Stampin_up_spring_flowers_3 - Copy

I used the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Folder, Butterflies Thinlets Dies, and assorted punches.

Stampin_up_spring_flowers_5 - Copy

I white heat embossed the larger butterfly image from Butterfly Basics, then punched with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. I sponged both butterflies with Melon Mambo ink. The pearls are colored with the Melon Mambo Blendability marker, which currently is unavailable to order due to quality issues. Hoping these will be available again soon!

Both white layers were embossed with the Spring Flowers folder using a technique to selectively omit the center embossing.

I think this is the most beautiful card with the butterfly thinlits I have ever seen, and I have pinned a lot of them! Thanks for sharing!
